Aerotek Construction General Laborer in La Vista, Nebraska
Office Furniture Installers — $18–$24/hr
Job Description
We’re hiring dependable Laborers to join our office furniture installation team. You’ll assemble desks, cubicles, storage systems, and other commercial furniture using hand tools and cordless drills. Work includes unloading trucks, moving materials into buildings, and following blueprints or instructions for accurate setup.
Responsibilities
Install desks, office furniture, and storage systems
Use hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, tape measures)
Operate cordless drills for assembly
Unload materials from trucks and move them into job sites
Follow blueprints and assembly instructions
Essential Skills
Proficient with common hand tools
Experience with furniture assembly/installation
Able to read and follow blueprints
Familiar with cordless drills and basic power tools
1+ years using hand tools
2+ years in a recent labor or construction role
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in basic construction tasks (framing, carpentry, drywall, doors)
Knowledge of inventory handling and furniture delivery
Foreman candidates: 3+ years advanced construction experience
Work Environment
Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekends based on deadlines
Typical day: 9–10 hours, starting 5:30–7:00 AM and ending around 4:00–4:30 PM
Occasional evening work (5–10 PM) with 1–2 weeks’ notice
Some travel to Des Moines during slower Omaha periods

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
