Functional Areas of Responsibility

  • Implements the company’s communications and marketing strategic plan

  • Collaboration with business alliances for priority pursuits

  • Direction of pursuit presentations

  • Management of social media, public relations, publicity, and civic involvement

  • Development of marketing collateral

  • Development of internal and external communications

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Efforts

  • Plan and execute regional company events and conference participation

  • Assist in the development of related targeted customer-facing marketing collateral including brochures, project profiles, presentations, advertisements, invitations, pitches and proposals

  • Manage event applications and show forms, track deadlines, and assist with internal and external event related communications

  • Helps to develop and implement systems to acquire and manage representative experience for the company

  • Promote the regional marketing efforts through social media including posting to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter

  • Manage collateral, apparel, promotional and marketing property inventory

  • Monitor and reconcile monthly marketing, event, and sales budget

  • Track and identify award opportunities and coordinate with appropriate departments on submittals

  • Performs other related duties to support special marketing, communications, and business development activities

Business Development & Pursuit Efforts

  • Assist in company’s qualifications/proposal submission efforts

  • Responsible for printing and production of company or market segment pieces

  • Responsible for the printing and production of industry award submittals as necessary to further promote company achievements and gain additional industry recognition

  • Produces and digitally files marketing information – resumes, experience listings, and project descriptions

  • Responsible for the production and digital filing of a wide variety of material used in marketing/ business development activity such as graphics, printed brochures, publications, digital images, displays, etc.

  • Other administrative duties as required (typing, filing, copying, scanning, expense report preparation, supply ordering, binding of proposals, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Preferred

  • Bachelors or better in Marketing

Experience

Required

  • -Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.-Impeccable organization skills with an attention for detail.-Solid computer skills with Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and a CRM database.

  • 0-3 years: 0-3 years experience in marketing
