Job Description: Housekeeping Professional
The Stagecoach Motel in La Junta is seeking a dedicated and thorough Housekeeper to join our team. We take pride in providing our guests with exceptionally clean, comfortable rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. Core Responsibilities
- Sanitization & Cleaning: Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to motel standards.
- Guest Room Turnover: Strip and make beds with fresh linens, replenish towels, and restock guest amenities (soap, shampoo, coffee, etc.).
- Detail-Oriented Maintenance: Thoroughly clean bathrooms, mirrors, and windows. Empty trash and ensure all furniture and fixtures are spotless.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the front desk and other team members to ensure rooms are ready for check-in on time.
- Stock Management: Maintain organized supply carts and report any low inventory or maintenance issues to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Housekeeping Experience: Previous experience in hotel/motel housekeeping or professional cleaning is required.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a "thorough" standard, ensuring no corner is missed and every room meets our high cleanliness bar.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively with others in a small-team environment.
- Reliability: Must be dependable and ready to work in a physical role that requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
Schedule & Compensation
- Pay: $15.16 per hour.
- Hours: Part-time, 20--25 hours per week.
- Availability: No set days; flexibility is required. Candidates must be available to work on weekends and holidays.
