Job Title: Specialized Home Health Aide / Caregiver (Training will be provided)
Location: La Junta CO
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00
Role: We are looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to support our daughter in our home. This is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's quality of life. You will provide essential comfort, medical support and companionship.
Training: We will provide all training (including tube feedings) on all aspects of her care.
The Schedule:
Monday: 7:30am - 4:30pm ( 1 hour lunch break from 11:30am - 12:30pm) 8hrs
Tuesday - Friday: Split shift 7:30am - 10:30am & 2:30pm - 4:30pm 5hrs x 4 days = 20hrs
28 total hours for 1 week
Key Responsibilities:
Specialized Care: Manage tube feeding including medications (all training provided).
Safety & Monitoring: Observation for startling reaction and seizures due to unexpected noises.
Personal Hygiene: Diaper changes as needed, brushing hair, keeping face clean and dry
Comfort: Repositioning by pulling up, turning onto side, turning onto stomach and turning onto back as needed to prevent bed sores.
Adjusting bedding to assist in her comfort as needed.
Companionship: Interaction by talking to her, playing with sensory/musical toys, reading children's books
