Job Title: General Production Worker – Electronic Assembly
Job Description
This role focuses on electronic assembly of switches used in military, government, agriculture, and healthcare applications. You will work with small components, hand tools, and printed circuit boards at an individual work station, performing precise, detail-oriented tasks to build high-quality electronic products.
Responsibilities
Perform electronic assembly of switches and related components for use in military, government, agriculture, and healthcare products.
Handle and assemble small parts with consistent accuracy, using strong hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to build and assemble different component parts according to work instructions.
Gather and organize all materials, parts, and tools needed to complete assigned assembly tasks.
Place and secure components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using small and precision hand tools.
Work at an individual work station, standing or sitting for extended periods while maintaining focus and productivity.
Follow detailed assembly instructions and drawings, paying close attention to quality and accuracy throughout the process.
Meet daily production expectations while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Work overtime as required, typically 3–4 hours per day, to support production needs.
Follow all safety guidelines and facility procedures while working in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills
Experience working with small parts and components, demonstrating strong hand–eye dexterity.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in an assembly environment.
Comfort working with printed circuit boards and placing small components with precision.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
Ability to stand or sit at a work station for most of the shift while maintaining focus.
Willingness and ability to work significant overtime, typically 3–4 extra hours daily (50–60 hours per week).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience as an electronic assembler or in electronic assembly is highly beneficial.
Solder certification is a plus and may support growth opportunities.
Experience with soldering in an electronic assembly environment is advantageous.
Pick-and-place equipment experience is a plus and may warrant a higher pay rate.
Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments is helpful.

Work Environment
You will work in a manufacturing environment organized into long rows of workstations, typically five work stations per row. The culture is laid back yet performance-focused, with leadership expecting you to understand your tasks and complete them reliably without constant oversight. The role is based on-site in Lagrange, with openings on 1st shift (generally 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with flexibility to start as early as 5:30 a.m.) and 2nd shift (3:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m.). Expect 3–4 hours of overtime per day, resulting in a 50–60 hour workweek. You will work at your own station, alternating between standing and sitting throughout the day, using hand tools, power tools, and precision tools to assemble electronic components on printed circuit boards. The facility follows health and safety procedures, including temperature checks and brief health questions at arrival and again near the end of the shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
