Job Title: Production Associate Job Description

The Production Associate position involves performing various tasks in the production of wood components. This role requires adherence to standard work methods and safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe production.

Responsibilities

  • Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.

  • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production and assembly.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Reading skills to interpret paperwork and perform tasks as assigned by the department supervisor.

  • Ability to check product quality using a tape measure or other measuring tools/equipment.

  • Proficient in time management.

  • Willingness to learn and perform a variety of job tasks.

  • Compliance with safety equipment requirements such as wearing safety glasses and hearing protection.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced production environment. Employees are frequently exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud, and overtime opportunities are available periodically.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.75/hr.
