JOB REQUIREMENTS: A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for anHR Assistant Position type: Full-time, Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extension Location: La Crosse, WI 54601 Overview: We\'re looking HR Assistant to support both hourly and salaried employees at our La Crosse, WI plant. This fully onsite role plays a key part in driving employee experience, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across multiple HR disciplines. What You\'ll Do * Serve as a trusted HR partner by collaborating with managers and employees to support day-to-day HR operations. * Engage with employees daily to assess and strengthen morale, motivation, and workplace efficiency. * Design, document, and improve HR standard work and processes using a continuous improvement mindset. * Proactively identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, reduce waste, and enhance effectiveness through collaboration and initiative. * Develop, manage, and report monthly HR metrics with a strong focus on accuracy, clarity, and usability. * Lead onboarding activities to ensure new employees feel welcomed, informed, and set up for success. * Support the recruitment and hiring of non-exempt hourly associates. * Administer time and attendance activities for full-time employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance. * Take on additional HR-related projects and duties as business needs evolve. What You Bring * Bachelor\'s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent hands-on HR experience. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. * Working knowledge of HR systems; experience with PeopleSoft is a plus. * Experience with time and attendance systems such as Kronos. * A results-driven mindset paired with analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills. * Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and processes. * Exceptional attention to detail with well-developed organizational skills. * Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. * Flexibility to shift priorities seamlessly to meet changing business demands. * Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills. * High degree of integrity with a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability.
