Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established EM practice. The Emergency Medicine Department includes two state-of-the-art ER’s, one at our main campus in La Crosse and the other located 25 miles east of La Crosse in Sparta.

The La Crosse practice includes physicians and advanced practice providers who collectively manage approximately 24,500 patient visits annually. Physicians work a mix of 10- and 12-hour shifts at the 96-bed La Crosse hospital, which offers 24-hour hospital medicine admitting services.

The Sparta site operates with single-coverage physicians working 12-hour shifts and sees approximately 8,000 visits annually. The Sparta hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility with family medicine admitting services.

Ideal physician should be a team player and enjoy working closely with multi-specialty group members and communicates well with patients and colleagues.
