Job Description
Maintenance & Reliability
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, piping, and utilities.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve a preventive maintenance plan to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Conduct root-cause analyses (RCA) for recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
- Team Leadership
• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate daily tasks of two maintenance technicians.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks.
• Evaluate team performance and identify training needs.
- TPM & Continuous Improvement
• Actively participate in TPM pillars such as Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement.
• Lead Kaizen initiatives aimed at improving equipment availability, reducing breakdowns, and increasing productivity.
• Support 5S activities across the maintenance workshop and production areas.
- Spare-Parts & Asset Management
• Design and implement a structured spare-parts storage system, including labeling, stocking levels, and tracking.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, forecast consumption patterns, and coordinate procurement with the supply chain team.
• Ensure critical spare parts are always available to minimize downtime.
- Automation & Technical Projects
• Execute basic automation and instrumentation projects to improve process monitoring and control.
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
- Compliance & Documentation
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance logs, equipment history, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop checklists, and maintenance guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge – at least 5 years experience on similar position
Mechanical or automation engineering degree
Hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Leadership and team management capability
Excellent planning and organizational skills Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance Experience with TPM methodologies
Continuous improvement mindset
Strong analytical and root-cause analysis skills
Basic automation and instrumentation understanding Ability to manage spare-parts inventory efficiently
Strong communication skills Safety-oriented approach – experience in using and implementing LOTO
Adaptability and problem-solving under pressure
Detail-oriented with a focus on reliability
