Publicis Groupe Digital Project Manager in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Overview

As a Digital Project Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate and lead complex digital campaigns, website initiatives, and app enhancements across cross-functional teams

  • Lead client discussions on project plans, delivery phases, technical considerations, and timelines to ensure clarity on dependencies and go-live requirements

  • Develop clear scopes, detailed project schedules, and structured risk and change management plans

  • Translate briefs into well-defined requirements and ensure alignment across Creative, and Development teams

  • Manage interdependencies across internal teams and external stakeholders to prevent delivery bottlenecks

  • Analyse and improve workflows for digital campaign deployment and platform updates

  • Drive structured review and approval stages to minimise rework and last-minute changes

  • Contribute to onboarding and knowledge sharing within the Project Management team

  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in stakeholder-facing environments

  • Maintain project timelines, delivery status reports, and execution readiness across concurrent workstreams

Responsibilities

Day-to-day, your role includes:

  • Setting up projects for success (clear scope, realistic timelines, appropriate team allocation, stakeholder alignment)

  • Running regular check-ins with technical and creative teams to track progress and resolve blockers

  • Keeping stakeholders and internal teams aligned on priorities and delivery sequencing

  • Managing risks proactively, escalating when necessary, and driving resolution

  • Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Improving methodologies, documentation standards, and workflow efficiencies across the PM function

  • Balancing large-scale launches with ongoing BAU requests in a fast-paced environment

  • Navigating evolving briefs and short turnaround timelines with structure and clarity

Qualifications

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

  • A four-year degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Digital Project Management or related fields

  • Proven experience managing mid-to-large scale digital campaigns and web/app initiatives

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with complex dependencies

  • Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies

  • Working knowledge of enterprise tools (JIRA, Confluence, Kanban boards, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Trello)

  • Experience working in high-volume environments with structured governance processes
