Role Overview
Are you a skilled culinary professional ready to take ownership of your station and contribute to a high-performing kitchen team?
We are seeking a Chef de Partie to execute daily menu items with precision, maintain quality standards, and ensure a smooth workflow in your designated station. This role offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities in a dynamic pre-opening environment.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Execution & Quality
- Prepare and present dishes according to Hilton’s recipes, standards, and portion control guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all outlets.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety at your station.
- Assist in special preparations for events, banquets, and high-volume services.
Station Management & Collaboration
- Take responsibility for your assigned station, ensuring efficiency, organization, and readiness for service.
- Work closely with Sous Chefs and Junior Sous Chefs to support smooth kitchen operations.
- Assist in coordinating ingredients, tools, and mise-en-place for your station.
- Communicate effectively with team members to anticipate operational needs and challenges.
Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
- Follow HACCP guidelines, Hilton’s hygiene standards, and local food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring proper handling of raw materials, equipment, and chemicals.
- Report any equipment or operational issues to senior chefs promptly.
Team Support & Development
- Support training of junior kitchen staff at your station.
- Encourage teamwork, collaboration, and adherence to kitchen procedures.
- Continuously seek to improve culinary skills and station efficiency.
What are we looking for?
A Chef de Partie serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience in a hotel or large-scale F&B kitchen.
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
- Strong culinary skills, with knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of hygiene standards, food safety, and safe kitchen practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain consistency.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
