MUFG is seeking an Analyst, Transaction Banking Client Implementation to join their team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Transaction Banking (TB) offers essential banking products and services for corporate clients, including channels and accounts for Trade & Supply Chain Finance and Cash Management.
This encompasses liquidity management, payments, collections, trade and supply chain finance.
What You'll Do:
As an Analyst, Transaction Banking Client Implementation , you will support the successful onboarding and implementation of transaction banking clients, ensuring high-quality delivery of trade, cash management, and digital channel solutions. The role partners closely with clients, internal stakeholders, regional teams, and IT to deliver seamless implementations while ensuring compliance, risk management, and operational excellence
Responsibilities:
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Build strong relationships with clients by delivering high-quality implementation support and technical guidance.
Act as a key point of contact during client onboarding and implementation phases.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Operations, IT, Compliance, and Regional/Head Office teams.
Implementation & Delivery:
Support implementation of transaction banking products including trade finance, cash management, and digital banking platforms.
Assist in system setup, testing, migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Support clients onsite when required to resolve complex technical or operational issues.
Ensure implementations are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
Risk, Control & Governance:
Investigate implementation and system issues, providing timely resolution and mitigation recommendations.
Support adherence to product approval governance, internal controls, and information security requirements.
Assist in managing operational risk, audit issues, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain proper documentation and reporting for implementation activities.
What You Will Bring:
To excel in this role, you’ll bring experience from the financial services sector—ideally working with cash management solutions. You should have both technical expertise in these products and handling client’s enquiries. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for handling clients while maintaining a strong client service journey. Your interpersonal skills will enable seamless collaboration across departments, whether supporting sales or liaising with project teams. A solid educational foundation underpins your expertise, but your commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing truly sets you apart.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of transaction banking products and systems (Cash management, online banking platforms).
Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
Ability to analyse system issues and propose practical solutions.
Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or higher learning institution.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in transaction banking and client implementation.
Knowledge of transaction banking systems, digital channels, and implementation processes.
Familiarity with host-to-host, banking regulations, compliance requirements, and operational risk controls is an advantage.
