IBM Senior AR Analyst - Romanian or Bulgarian speaker in Krakow, Poland

Your role and responsibilities

The Senior AR Analyst plays a critical role in overseeing the end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including credit management, cash collection, cash application, dispute and deduction resolution, and trade spend management, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams. This role provides advanced responsibility for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across all AR activities. Description of the duties and responsibilities

· Price-checking orders and reviewing credit requests

· Reviewing billing errors and EDI failures, raising tickets, and driving follow-up until resolution

· Reviewing customer ledgers, assigning actions, monitoring progress, and approving exceptions

· Reconciling the claims clearance account, identifying items to be resolved, and issuing credit notes

· Setting up and managing rebates/promotions, reviewing and approving promotions, supporting Sales, and validating accruals

· Ensuring all processes are executed in line with company policies, controls, and compliance requirements

Required technical and professional expertise

'- Fluent English and Romanian or Bulgarian required; additional European languages are a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), SAP, and HRC

  • BA or MA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare meaningful reports

  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills to collaborate effectively with Sales, customers, and internal stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently and within a team, including experience in coordinating with cross-functional groups

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines

  • Willingness to travel occasionally
