AON Business Analyst II in Krakow, Poland

The Business Analyst supports EMEA projects and change initiatives by providing analysis and insights for effective decision-making. Key responsibilities include capturing and analyzing requirements, modeling processes, and assisting in the design and implementation of solutions aligned with ABS capabilities and country operating models.

This hybrid role combines core business analysis (requirements, process, data, and benefits) with contributions to project management and business consultancy. It drives strategic change, translates business needs into actionable propositions, and coordinates activities across multiple countries in a virtual environment.

What the day will look like

Regional COO Support

  • Support strategic projects across the EMEA region focusing on system delivery/adoption and alignment of country target operating models to Aon Business Services (ABS) capabilities.

  • Work with EMEA countries to review areas for improvement and make appropriate recommendations including transition to the Global Capability Centres , business process change, system change, introduction of robotics and automation and then support the implementation of these changes.

    Business Analysis & Requirements Management:

    Manage end-to-end requirements from strategy through change control, ensuring all business needs are captured. Perform gap analysis and maintain accuracy in project documentation.

    Process Analysis & Design:

    Document current processes, identify improvements, and model future states using consistent mapping (e.g., BPMN). Conduct feasibility studies and pilot changes to validate solutions.

    Data & Insight:

    Analyze process data to identify strategic opportunities and support adoption of analytics tools across countries.

    Change & Stakeholder Engagement:

    Plan and facilitate workshops, adapt to country needs, and build strong stakeholder relationships. Act as a trusted adviser, tailor communication, deliver training, and ensure smooth transition to BAU with supporting documentation.

    Project Support & Governance:

    Contribute to project delivery, planning, risk and issue management, and reporting. Ensure milestones are met on time and within budget. Prepare cost-benefit analyses and business cases for sign-off. Coordinate with country teams and EMEA Steering Committees to align priorities and track progress.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    • 5 years previous experience within a similar role with evidence of successful delivery of IT and business change outcomes
  • Qualifications or experience in project management and/or Six Sigma

  • ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis (or similar)

  • Prior experience working in IT or within Health and Benefits sector

  • Prior experience working in the Flexible Benefits, Online Benefits, or Benefits Administration

  • Smart Automation & Robotics experience

  • Experience of Target Operating Model and Business Transition projects or programs. Awareness of challenges associated with deploying new operating models.

  • Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff.

  • Demonstrable experience of leading and delivering large business projects and programmes.

  • Experience influencing and gaining agreement from Executive sponsors, team members, collaborators and peers.

  • Ability to deliver all project deliverables and documentation to a high standard and quality.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments and lead and drive change.

  • Attention to Detail: Systematically and accurately checking all processes, data and tasks to ensure accuracy

  • Continuous improvement: Proactively seeks opportunities to improve existing processes and procedures. Actively seeks opportunities to resolve inefficiency and implement solutions.

  • Knowledge of common Health and Benefits insurance processes.

  • Knowledge of TBS (Aon’s Global Platform) advantageous

  • Knowledge of analytics tools and business adoption

  • Strong work ethic, tenacity and resilience
