We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Director, Pricing.
In this role you will:
Lead, coach and develop the team to work closely with Product development, Actuarial and Distribution
Optimize product pricing with executable solution to balance between profitability, market competitiveness and risk
Ensure robust end-to-end pricing process and proactively identify rooms for improvement to excellence
Liaise with various local and group office stakeholders for product approval
Bridging business and risk functions and provide management insights on top of numerical results
Ensure compliance of group pricing framework, internal controls and respective governance
Support annual profitability review and fulfillment analysis to evaluate portfolio performance
Support ad hoc project and initiatives as assigned by Head of Pricing
To be successful you will need:
Qualified actuary with minimum 10 years’ experience in insurance / actuarial industry, preferably covering product pricing and financial reporting
Strong business acumen with in-depth and up-to-date market knowledge
Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
Leverage strong analytical skills and communication skills to articulate complex concepts in business language
Proactive critical thinker with innovative mindset, able to drive changes
Demonstrate leadership, good team player and stakeholder management
