Your role and responsibilities
As a Project Manager in IT Project Management, you will lead a project team in delivering IT projects to clients using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project. You will have overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage Project Scope and Deliverables: Apply techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management to ensure successful project delivery. This includes managing all project resources, including subcontractors, and establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the client. • Lead Project Team: Provide day-to-day direction to the project team, ensuring they have the necessary guidance and support to complete tasks efficiently. • Establish Client Communication Plan: Develop and implement a communication plan that meets the client's needs and ensures regular project status updates are delivered. • Manage Project Resources: Oversee the allocation and utilization of project resources, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. • Apply Project Management Methodologies: Utilize project management techniques and delivery methods, such as agile principles and ceremonies, lean, OCM, and design thinking methodologies, to drive project success.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Project Management Techniques: Experience with project management techniques and delivery methods, including planning, tracking, change control, and risk management, to ensure successful project delivery. • Agile and Lean Methodologies: Experience with agile principles and ceremonies, lean, OCM, and design thinking methodologies to drive project success and deliver high-quality results. • Resource Management: Experience in managing project resources, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. • Client Communication: Experience in establishing effective communication plans with clients, ensuring regular project status updates are delivered and meeting client needs. • Team Leadership: Experience in leading project teams, providing day-to-day direction, and ensuring team members have the necessary guidance and support to complete tasks efficiently.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Knowledge of IT Project Delivery: Experience with IT project delivery methodologies, including agile principles and ceremonies, lean, OCM, and design thinking. Ability to apply these methodologies to drive project success and deliver high-quality results. • Familiarity with Project Management Tools: Exposure to project management tools and techniques, including planning, tracking, change control, and risk management. Ability to utilize these tools to ensure successful project delivery. • Understanding of Client Communication: Experience in establishing effective communication plans with clients, ensuring regular project status updates are delivered and meeting client needs.
