Emerson General Manager (m/d/w) in KORSCHENBROICH, Germany

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead and execute site strategy, translating business objectives into clear operational priorities and measurable outcomes
Own site performance, including profit planning, budgeting, P&L management, capital investment, and inventory control
Ensure full compliance with German and EU health, safety, environmental, labor, and regulatory requirements while modeling a strong safety and quality culture
Drive operational excellence by optimizing manufacturing, materials planning, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives
Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders to support long‑term business growth
Develop, engage, and lead a high‑performing, cross‑functional leadership team across operations, supply chain, quality, safety, finance, HR, and project management
Foster transparent communication and constructive collaboration with employees and works councils
Champion talent development through succession planning, performance management, training, and engagement initiatives
Ensure adherence to corporate trade compliance policies and support integration of site processes, tools, and organizational standards within Emerson

For This Role, You Will Need:
Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing or operational environments with accountability for people, safety, and financial outcomes
Strong knowledge of operational, financial, and supply chain processes within an industrial or manufacturing context
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage change in a structured and collaborative way
Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Legal authorization to work in Germany in accordance with local regulations
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience leading a site or business unit within a matrixed or international organization
Exposure to regulated industries with high standards for safety, quality, and compliance
Demonstrated success with continuous improvement, operational excellence, or lean methodologies
Experience collaborating with works councils or employee representative bodies
Background across multiple functional areas such as operations, finance, supply chain, engineering, or project management
Experience working within German or EU regulatory frameworks related to health, safety, environmental protection, and labor relations
Professional proficiency in German language
