Role Summary
Lead sustainable growth initiatives by managing long-term sales cycles, expanding into adjacent markets, and providing strategic insights to the sales team. This role is crucial for driving revenue in core and emerging segments across the region, with a focus on large deal opportunities (LDOs) in metals, cement, and other key industries.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation
Manage 1-5 year sales cycles for LDOs in core markets
Continuously grow and convert the sales funnel
Achieve and exceed quarterly targets
Market Expansion
Build new sales funnels in non-core segments (academic research, mining & minerals, forensics)
Lead key account strategy for top 5 cement and steel/aluminum manufacturers
Sales Support and Strategy
Provide market trend analysis and competitive product benchmarking
Conduct regular field visits with the sales team
Maintain accurate and timely updates in SFDC (CRM)
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with HR, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and OSA team
Collaborate with regional leaders and global teams
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
12+ years of sales experience, with 10+ years in analytical industries (XRF, XRD, OES product lines)
Strong experience in steel industries and handling capital equipment
Knowledge in Key Account Management (KAM)
Core Competencies
Deep market knowledge and competitive landscape understanding
Strong communication and IT skills (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency)
Ability to manage complex projects and multitask
Proactive approach with minimal guidance
Collaborative skills across different functions/BUs
Additional Requirements
Sales experience in OSA region, especially Bangladesh & Nepal
Exposure to Market Data Analytics
Ability to handle uncertainty and flourish with minimal guidance
