Your role and responsibilities
As an Application Architect specializing in SAP HANA Development, you will manage projects that involve application architecture of SAP HANA, Suite on HANA migrations, and S/4HANA migration using the Custom Development Migration Worklist tool. You will work as a trusted advisor guiding the team in S/4HANA and SoH Implementation/Migration Projects. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Lead Project Management: Manage projects involving SAP HANA application architecture, Suite on HANA migrations, and S/4HANA migration using the Custom Development Migration Worklist tool. • Define Code Pushdown Strategy: Compare various techniques and recommend tools for optimization to define the code pushdown strategy. • Guide Team Members: Work as a trusted advisor guiding the team in S/4HANA and SoH Implementation/Migration Projects, providing expertise in S/4HANA architecture and Fiori configuration. • Optimize HANA Code: Identify objects for optimization and apply advanced HANA Code push features, including advanced OPEN SQL, AMDP, HANA Native SQL, and HANA SQL Script add-ons. • Configure HANA Studio: Install, configure, and use HANA Studio with the ABAP development tool, utilizing knowledge of the HANA Administration Console, HANA development, and HANA Modeling tools.
Required technical and professional expertise
• SAP HANA Project Management: Experience with managing projects involving SAP HANA application architecture, Suite on HANA migrations, and S/4HANA migration using the Custom Development Migration Worklist tool. • Code Pushdown Strategy Development: Experience in defining code pushdown strategies by comparing various techniques and recommending tools for optimization. • S/4HANA Architecture and Configuration: Experience with S/4HANA architecture and Fiori configuration, with the ability to apply them based on client business requirements. • HANA Code Optimization: Experience in identifying objects for optimization and applying advanced HANA Code push features, including advanced OPEN SQL, AMDP, HANA Native SQL, and HANA SQL Script add-ons. • HANA Studio Configuration and Administration: Experience in installing, configuring, and using HANA Studio with the ABAP development tool, with knowledge of the HANA Administration Console, HANA development, and HANA Modeling tools.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Advanced HANA Modeling: Experience with HANA Modeling tools, including the ability to apply advanced data modeling concepts to optimize HANA code. • Custom Development Migration: Experience with the Custom Development Migration Worklist tool, including the ability to migrate custom developments to S/4HANA. • Fiori Configuration Expertise: Experience with Fiori configuration, including the ability to design and implement Fiori-based user interfaces for S/4HANA applications.
