Actalent Controls Engineer in Kokomo, Indiana
Description
Located in Kokomo, Indiana, the primary business unit is electric vehicle battery manufacturing; however, due to the current EV market, we have began to diversify the business, such as the energy storage system vertical. We are seeking a Electrical Controls Engineer to assist and validate incoming equipment from overseas to adhere to Samsung SDI and ISO manufacturing standards. This project will include but not limited to:
Assist and lead the evaluation of schematics and electrical safety of new equipment
Take part in reviewing machine manuals, wiring, and PLC ladder logic
Asist and lead in the integration and commissioning of new equipment
Work cross-functionally with Automation, Vision, and Process Engineering
Have a fundamental understanding of machine safety, ISO manufacturing standards, reliability practices

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
