Your role and responsibilities
As a Data Engineer specializing in Data Warehouses, you will design, develop, and integrate data management systems, leveraging tools like Teradata and Snowflake to drive analytics solutions. You will utilize your analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure the efficient management of large-scale data systems. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design and Develop Data Systems: Create complex application components and integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects across various platforms to support data warehouse management. • Integrate Analytics Solutions: Develop and implement analytics solutions using tools like Teradata and Snowflake to drive business insights and decision-making. • Ensure Efficient Data Management: Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize the performance of large-scale data systems and ensure seamless data integration. • Develop Reusable Objects: Create reusable objects and software packages to support data management and analytics solutions across multiple platforms. • Troubleshoot Data Issues: Identify and resolve data management issues to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in the warehouse.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Data Warehouse Design: Exposure to designing and developing data management systems, including data warehouses using tools like Teradata and Snowflake. • Analytics Solution Development: Experience working with analytics solutions, utilizing tools like Teradata and Snowflake to drive business insights and decision-making. • Large-Scale Data Management: Exposure to managing large-scale data systems, ensuring efficient data integration and optimizing system performance. • Software Integration: Experience working with integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects across various platforms to support data warehouse management. • Data Issue Resolution: Exposure to identifying and resolving data management issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Proficiency in Additional Tools: Exposure to other data management tools and technologies, complementing Teradata and Snowflake expertise, can be beneficial in this role. • Advanced Analytics Knowledge: Familiarity with advanced analytics concepts and methodologies can enhance the development and implementation of analytics solutions. • Multi-Platform Integration: Experience working with diverse platforms and operating systems can facilitate seamless integration of software packages and reusable objects.
