Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Patient Service Representative I in Knoxville, TN.

Pay: Starting at $14.50/hour

Type: Contract / Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Day Shift)

Location: Knoxville, TN

Primary Responsibilities

  • Greet, assist, and direct patients and visitors in a professional manner

  • Schedule patient appointments following established protocols

  • Obtain and document accurate demographic, insurance, and visit-related information

  • Complete patient registration and verify insurance coverage

  • Prepare patient charts and encounter forms; obtain necessary authorizations

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls appropriately

  • Maintain knowledge of insurance plans and provider participation

  • Assist with medical record filing and documentation updates

  • Collaborate with physicians and care team members to support patient care Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • At least 1 year of customer service and/or medical office experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Details: $14.50 to $16.50 per hour
