ManpowerGroup Logistics Clerk in Knoxville, Tennessee
Our client, a leading logistics and shipping organization, is seeking a Logistics Clerk to join their team. As a Logistics Clerk, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting domestic and international shipment operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Logistics Clerk
Location: Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: $19.40
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-4PM (1st shift), 30 mins lunch
What's the Job?
Process shipments on parcel carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL, including generating labels and tracking shipments.
Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation for domestic and international deliveries.
Ensure compliance with ISO procedures, work instructions, and process packages, including auditing sales orders and invoices for accuracy.
Package and mark shipments accurately for various departments.
Support other departmental activities and perform computer operations in business systems like Oracle, AES, and Tradesphere.
What's Needed?
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to attain certifications such as 49 CFR (DOT), IATA, and IMDG.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to safely operate packaging and freight handling equipment.
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain positive work relationships.
