Job Overview
The PCX Electrical Assembler 1 is responsible for completing all assigned work according to specifications in a high quality and safe manner. The Electrical Assembler 1 is proficient in reading assembly documentation and providing high quality work with guidance. The Electrical Assembler 1 can properly cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires from component to component while maintaining PCX's quality standards. The Electrical Assembler 1 is required to follow the instructions of the electrical supervisor and suggest improvements.
A Day In The Life
Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements
Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.
Listens and follows directions from supervisors and management
Must exhibit quality workmanship that adheres to engineering and customer specifications
Adheres to PCX Quality Management System and ISO9001 standards
Works in a timely, efficient manner to meet all daily performance objectives
Must be able to work in a team environment which requires cooperating with others, offering help when needed, and maintaining positive work relationships
Complete Time Reporting Sheets
Ability to work up to 10 hours per day and weekends as required
Must have reliable transportation
Background check and drug-screen are required

Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
Must be able to read and understand posted bulletins, regulations, rule books, manufacturer manuals, and work instructions
Complete required documentation (Timesheets, material usage, etc.)
Able to lift 35 pounds consistently and team lift 70 pounds
Should have ability to read assembly documentation and provide high quality of work with guidance.
Ensures and double checks that materials are correct and documentation is current
Can properly cut, strip, crimp and terminate wires from component to component
Defers to lead for any discrepancies before taking action to remedy problems
Desire to produce quality products to be used in larger assemblies
Ability to read wire tables, line diagrams and ensure wire is properly terminated
Ability to work on ladders (up to 10 feet), lifts (with harness) and stand or sit for long periods of time
Ability to thoroughly check wire connections via tug testing, continuity, and overall visual inspection
High level of workmanship to provide a clean and neat product
Attention to detail while also adhering to production timeframes
Ability to complete or quickly learn wire terminations and routing process
Must be able to successfully complete training without interruption (unless approved).
