WorkSource Oregon Radiologic Technologist in KLAMATH FALLS, Oregon
Required: * Graduate of Certified Radiologic Technology School or Program * Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging and National Registration in Radiography (AART) Required * Basic Life Support for the HealthCare Provider (BLS) * 1-2 years Orthopedic Radiography * Knowledge of modern office equipment, system and procedures, including computer skills and type efficiently * Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Internet software; Order processing systems; Knowledge of medical software is a plus Summary: Work with a dynamic team in creating a patient friendly atmosphere to provide the best quality service to our patients. Duties Include: * The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for operating the medical imaging equipment used to produce images of patients\' bodies * Administer radiological examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures and accepted clinical standards * Evaluate film quality for technique, positioning and protocol compliance and consistently makes the necessary adjustments to achieve quality film results * Track and maintain all radiology exam reports received from consulting radiologists, ensuring that reports are reviewed by treating physician and properly filed * Prepare films for medical records request by authorized external facilities or patient and maintain tracking log of films to be returned
