WorkSource Oregon Radiologic Technologist in KLAMATH FALLS, Oregon
Required: * Capable of all routine diagnostic procedures including but not limited to: Routine, Fluoroscopic, OR Trauma, Portable radiographs or fluoroscopy; limited specials such as Myelograms, and Venograms * Current Oregon RT; and License * ARRT registered within 6 months of hire * New Graduate Rad Techs not yet completing Radiology Tech training must have a current Oregon limited RT License, verses a regular RT license and ARRT registration * Must be available to take 24-hour stand-by Duties Include: * Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere for patients * Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical or emotional stress and gather and exchange patient information with nursing personnel and physicians * Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physician specifications * Provides immobilization as required and protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards * Performs other duties as assigned
