Roles and Responsibilities
- Pick and load orders for customer deliveries and pick ups
- Safely load and unload materials from vendor and customer vehicles
- Accurately count and cross-check deliveries and receiving against shipping manifests, sales orders and other paperwork
- Assist with other duties as needed
- Pick loads for Gagne trucks as well as any customer pickup orders (Put warehouse pallets with loads)
- Help/load any walk-in customers
- Check in and put away customer returns
- Organize and maintain yards
- Coverage at other stores as needed
- Consolidate/reorganize pallets of product
- Pick up any trash, plastic, or other debris
- Pick up any empty or broken pallets
- Refill customer rows with more product when low
- Help unload Gagne trucks with product or pallets coming back
- Maintain forklift
- Regularly wash and grease forklift as well as blow out the cab
- Help with shoveling and cleaning off cubes during the wintertime
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must follow directions well and be a team player
- Forklift experience (large off road forklift experience a plus)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Must be able to lift between 50-100lbs regularly.
- Good organizational skills
- Detail oriented with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- A background in masonry or landscape construction is desirable
