• Must be able to assist in coating application from start to finish.
• Must be able to pass an ISHIHARA Color Blindness test.
• Must be able to be capable of wearing and inspecting all Personal Protective Equipment for all job assignments which includes passing a mask evaluation.
• Must be able to read and understand basic blueprints and check parts to print specs.
• Prepare and clean items and surfaces to be powder coated which includes masking, plugging, and hand finishing of parts.
• Visually inspect parts for pin holes, runs, bare spots, to ensure proper coverage.
• Grind and finish parts as per customer specification.
• Ensures quality production through physical inspection.
• Maintains high level of accuracy, efficiency and safety, ensures quality standards and policy objectives are met by in-process inspection.
• Maintains a safe work environment by following procedures complying with legal regulations.
• Experience with basic inspection equipment and small tools (calipers, grinders, measuring tape, etc.).
• Ability to work overtime as needed to meet schedule requirements.
• Willingness to follow instruction and help wherever needed in the shop.
• Be self-motivated, positive team-oriented attitude.
• Document actions by completing records.
• Must maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Employee is regularly exposed to vibration, moderate noise levels and warm temperatures.  Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, including stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.  Frequently uses hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, to climb or balance.  Must be willing to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.  Will frequently and repetitively be able to lift 50 lbs.
