Abbott Field Technical Engineer - Electrophysiology - Sweden in Kista, Sweden

What You’ll Do
As a Field Technical Engineer , you will provide hands‑on technical and clinical support to customers using Abbott’s EP solutions, working closely with hospitals and internal teams to ensure safe, effective and high‑quality procedures.
Provide on‑site technical support to physicians and nurses during EP procedures in cath lab environments
Prepare, set up and support Abbott systems and disposable products before and during procedures
Act as a technical expert in the room, supporting troubleshooting and ensuring optimal system performance
Build strong, professional relationships with hospital staff by being reliable, adaptable and solution‑oriented
Support installations, product introductions and customer training in collaboration with Sales and Clinical teams
Maintain accurate documentation of visits, cases and relevant customer information in Abbott systems
Continuously develop your technical and clinical knowledge through Abbott’s structured training programs
Travel extensively across Sweden, with additional support to the Nordic region when required
What You’ll Bring
Technical, biomedical, engineering or clinical background, or equivalent hands‑on experience
Strong interest in medical technology and working in a clinical, patient‑focused environment
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Sweden and occasionally the Nordics
Based in or around Stockholm, or willing to relocate
Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams
Good communication skills in English (spoken and written); Swedish is a plus but not essential
Curiosity, learning agility and motivation to develop EP knowledge (prior EP experience is desirable but not required)
A structured, quality‑minded approach and comfort working in regulated environments
