Amergis Full-time School LPN - $28/hr in Kissimmee, Florida
The School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing basic nursing care and health-related services to students in a school setting. The School LPN supports student health needs, assists in the management of acute and chronic conditions, and collaborates with school staff, administrators, families, and healthcare providers to promote a safe and healthy learning environment. Services are provided in accordance with established care plans, physician orders, and Amergis Healthcare Staffing policies and standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state where practicing
One year of relevant nursing experience preferred
Previous school clinic nursing or 1:1 pediatric experience required
Current CPR certification
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable
Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
