Actalent Test Technician in Kirkland, Washington

Job Title: Electronics Technician

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, rework, and repair electronic hardware and related components.

  • Perform functional testing, tuning, and troubleshooting of printed circuit board assemblies and integrated electronic subsystems.

  • Support final system builds and verification activities.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, test, and development engineering teams to resolve production and design-related issues.

  • Accurately follow work instructions, test procedures, and rework documentation.

  • Complete additional tasks as needed to support operational requirements.

Essential Skills

  • Hands-on experience assembling and testing sensitive electronic assemblies.

  • Ability to follow detailed technical documentation and standardized processes.

  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and power supplies.

  • Knowledge of electrostatic discharge (ESD) handling procedures and materials.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment regularly, with occasional lifting up to approximately 50 lbs.

  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and identify components.

  • Experience with soldering and electronic rework (IPC certification a plus).

  • Familiarity with basic PCBA troubleshooting, rework, and repair techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing or test environment.

  • Associate degree in a technical discipline or formal electronics training (military, trade school, or equivalent) preferred.

  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).

  • Experience in testing and tuning electronic assemblies.

  • Familiarity with RF electronics test equipment.

  • Ability to read and understand circuit schematics.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kirkland, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $82000.00/yr.
