The Software Development Engineer at GoDaddy.com, LLC in Kirkland, WA will develop applications and automated solutions for internal and external customers. Monitor and improve availability, reliability, and performance of content and merchandising systems. Develop and design software applications, translating user needs into systems architecture. Develop high quality, highly-scalable and highly-available, cloud-ready microservices. Write functional and unit tests to test engineering resilience of software applications and automation tools. Embrace agile methodologies to continuously release and deploy iterations of our services. Embrace DevOps methodologies for enabling and supporting critical customer-facing systems as well as internal APIs/tools. Perform CICD and resolve issues. Reengineer systems and code for continuous improvement. Telecommuting permitted 3 times per week. GoDaddy's compensation may vary based on an individual's qualifications at the time of the offer. The annual base salary range is $124,800 - $175,800 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or related field plus 3 years of experience as a software developer or related occupation. Employer will also accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus one year of experience as a software developer or related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following: (1) software design, development, testing and implementation; (2) REST APIs, Agile, automated testing framework; (3) MS SQL, performance tuning, Python, shell scripting; and (4) Unix and CI/CD with Jenkins. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
