Role Overview

We are seeking a Field Merchandising Manager to work remotely. This person will be responsible for in-store merchandising planning, launching, communicating, executing, managing, and reporting on our product demos in the US market. This role is instrumental in contributing to the vision for how we present ourselves and ensuring our customers can find, learn, and experience products through physical retail. This position is execution-oriented and is focused on planning, managing, and executing large new and existing programs and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize a high volume of projects across thousands of retail doors, many with tight deadlines.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align and drive impact and results.
  • Act as a liaison between regional 3rd party labor agencies, fixture display companies, and various internal teams.
  • Manage 3rd party labor agencies to execute projects in brick-and-mortar retailers to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Build highly detailed execution plans for a variety of initiatives across multiple product lines.
  • Understand display fixture production and installation processes to prepare workback schedules.
  • Track field execution, including progress and results, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze demo data, identify potential roadblocks, and work with external partners to ensure in-store demo compliance.
  • Process all invoices and work with the Field Merchandising Lead to ensure all projects are within budget.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in either brand-side or vendor-side retail in-store merchandising. 3+ years of project management experience and 3+ years of third-party labor management experience are required. The candidate must have a proven ability to understand the unique operating conditions within various retailers.

Skills: Must have experience sharing program updates across broad teams. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to track complex fixture installations. Experience managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors is necessary. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, be an excellent communicator, and be proficient with Google G Suite and Microsoft applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Essilor Luxottica retail partners and their guidelines or processes.
  • Experience in planning large-scale executions and installations from concept through production stages.
  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional setting.
  • Experience maintaining budgets and fiscal responsibility.
  • Mobile Carrier and/or Specialty Retailer experience.
  • Experience with in-store tech demos or technology in a retail setting.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is between $45.00 and $55.00 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
