ManpowerGroup Material Handler / Packaging in Kinston, North Carolina
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Handler / Packaging to join their team. As a Material Handler / Packaging, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring efficient packaging and handling of finished goods. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler / Packaging
Location: Kinston, NC
Pay Range: $16.00
Shift: Monday–Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am–1:00pm
What's the Job?
Count product in bundles or boxes to ensure accuracy
Complete packing detail sheets for each shipment
Move bundles of finished goods using forklift equipment
Operate heat torch to wrap bundles in heat shrink plastic for secure packaging
Ensure bundles are correctly labeled with shipping labels and staged in the to-ship lanes
What's Needed?
Forklift operation experience
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
Quickly and efficiently retain product knowledge
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a productive pace
MUST pass a math and tape measure assessment test
