We have an exciting opportunity for a PT Aide to work in our North Bergen Office.The hours are Mon-Fri from 8am-4:30pm with Saturday rotations from 8am-1pm.Job Duties:Assist with patient intakeObserve patients, document patients responses and progressLiaise with physicians' offices and hospital personnelPrepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.Prepare patients for physical treatment, educate patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercises.Help assist the Physician Therapist and Physician Therapy Assistant by providing heat packs, paraffin dips.Help patients onto exercise equipment, monitor motion, track walking time and distance, measure mobility, perform prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.Maintain safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules and regulations i.e. clean beds, gym equipment, PT modalities.Ensure operation of physical therapy equipment, complete preventive maintenance, call for repairs.Maintain physical therapy supplies inventory, anticipate needs, place and expedite orders.When you join one of our 16 conveniently placed locations, you become a part of Kayal Orthopedic Center unrivaled record of achievement, education and advancement as we revolutionize healthcare together.
