Packaging Associate
Location: Gananoque, ON
Shift: 12 hour rotating shifts (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights)
Role Overview
In the Packaging Department, you will play a key role in preparing finished medical devices for shipment to hospitals and healthcare facilities across North America. This fast‑paced, highly organized environment involves working on a 12‑hour continental schedule as part of a collaborative production team. Your main responsibilities include operating basic packaging equipment, inspecting products for accuracy and defects, labeling and sealing materials, and ensuring all items meet Cardinal Health’s strict quality and safety standards. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands‑on tasks, consistent routines, and working in a clean, regulated manufacturing setting.
What You’ll Do
Package finished medical devices according to approved work instructions and specifications
Operate basic packaging equipment and tools safely and efficiently
Label, seal, and prepare products for shipment using validated packaging materials
Perform visual inspections to ensure product accuracy, completeness, and packaging integrity
Identify and report defects, damage, or quality concerns promptly
Accurately complete FDA‑regulated documentation and production records in English
Follow all clean room, safety, and regulatory procedures at all times
Maintain consistent focus and accuracy while sitting or standing for extended periods
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets
What You’ll Need
Experience in production, assembly, or quality inspection
Strong manual dexterity for handling small parts
Exceptional attention to detail with good visual focus
Ability to complete English documentation accurately for regulatory compliance

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
