Nuvance Health Cardiac Technician-Part Time in Kingston, New York
Description
SUMMARY: Administers Exercise Tolerance Test, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Rehab department and documents results adhering to proper protocol. Supervises and educates patients and members with respect to exercise, proper use of equipment and general health.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience: Minimum two (2) years experience in a healthcare environment or fitness field.
Strong organization and customer service skills required.
Working knowledge of a PC and medical terminology preferred.
Proficient in EKG telemetry reading required.
License: Must be BLS Certified
Working Conditions:
Manual: Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Some occupational risk
Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
