Position Summary:

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing organization in the corporate services sector located in King of Prussia, PA. This on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity supports day-to-day accounts payable operations within a fast-paced corporate office environment where accuracy, urgency, and collaboration are critical to success.

Essential Duties:

·        Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely.

·        Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.

·        Ensure proper general ledger coding and account classification.

·        Enter invoice data into the accounting system with high accuracy.

·        Resolve vendor and internal discrepancies professionally and efficiently.

·        Support administrative and reporting needs for the AP department.

·        Participate in process improvement initiatives and SOP enhancements.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

·        Minimum 2+ years of corporate accounts payable experience.

·        Experience in centralized billing or shared services environment preferred.

·        Contract-to-hire experience in fast-paced environments a plus.

Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:

·        Strong understanding of full-cycle accounts payable processes.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

·        Experience with Sage Intacct or Service Titan preferred.

·        Knowledge of general ledger coding principles.

·        Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to multitask and meet deadlines independently.

·        Demonstrated problem-solving and customer service skills.

Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $28 – 30.
