Job Description:
Maintains safe practice by demonstrating unit-specific clinical competency and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Ensures safe and effective handoff communications and documentation between caregivers.
Participates in peer interviewing and peer review processes.
Communicates courteously with internal and external customers in person or on the telephone.
Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments.
Participates in hourly rounding using the AIDET technique to improve patient outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Competence with the EPIC charting system [Preferred]
Education:
• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• Graduate of a school of nursing
• in nursing
Work Experience:
• 1+ years of recent and relevant experience [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support-CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) [Required]

Pay Range:
$33.65 - $62.59
