JOB REQUIREMENTS: Reporting to the Plant Manager, the primary purpose of the position is to direct the activities of plant production departments through the Production Managers and Supervisors. Proficiently leads cross functional manufacturing projects. This position is responsible for overall production management as guided by the Plant Manager. Food Safety/Quality Directs the plant food safety and quality programs. Ensure employee practices comply with regulatory and company quality policies. Ensure products conformance to specifications. Ensure equipment, buildings and contractors comply with company quality policies. Investigate and coordinate the correction of any deviation to food safety or quality programs in conjunction with Plant Manager and Quality. Employee Safety Drive the plant safety programs. Directs employee practices to ensure they comply with regulatory and company safety policies. Develop methods to ensure equipment and plant conditions comply with regulatory and company safety policies. People Foster and support the Sargento Culture. Monitor employee interactions to ensure compliance with our corporate culture. Create an open two-way dialogue with all employees to promote morale and motivation of workforce. Complete employee evaluations that provide timely and constructive feedback. Work with Plant Manager to develop succession plans for key positions in the facility.
