We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our Large Power Systems team to support Caterpillar large engine production at our Kiel facility.
What You Will Do:
Develop,implementand support processes and practices for ensuring a plan for every part.
Ensureappropriateandtimelystock levels of materials, components and equipment needed to manufacture and deliver products to support the manufacturing facility.
Coordinate with sales, manufacturing and suppliers on short and long-term production forecasts and expected deliverables.
Manage relationships with internal customers,coordinatingand integrating planning processes.
Develop and continuously improve the accuracy of logistical needs, including warehouse capacity, equipmentneedsand resource needs.
Set up,maintain, andmonitorlogistical processes and dependencies.
What You Have (Key Skills/Experience Required ):
Supply Chain Management: Strongunderstanding of supply chain functions, principles, and techniques, with the ability to develop and apply strategies, practices, and tools to control and optimizelogisticsprocesses.
Inventory Management: Solid grasp of inventory management processes and methodologies, with the capability to effectively control local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished goods.
Process Improvement: Demonstratedability to assess current product quality and production methods whilemaintaininga strong focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products, and services.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Strong appreciation of accuracy and precision, with the ability to complete tasks consistently toa high levelof detail.
Data Gathering & Analysis: Proficiencyin using data collection and analysis tools, techniques, and processes to objectively gather, synthesize, and evaluate information from multiple stakeholders and sources.
Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP): Understandingoftheconsiderations,challenges, andprocessesinvolvedinsystematicallymanaginginventorydistributionacrossmultiple plantsorwarehouses,withtheabilitytoapplythisexperienceinpractice.
Effective Communication: Strongcommandofcommunicationprinciples,tools, andtechniques,withtheabilitytoclearlytransmit,receive, andaccuratelyinterpretideas,information, andrequirements.
Problem Solving : Experienceapplyingstructuredapproaches,tools, andtechniquestoidentify,anticipate, andresolveorganizational, operational,orprocess‑relatedchallengesacrossdiversesituations.
Degreeorequivalentexperiencedesired.
Very goodGerman (at least C1) andvery goodEnglish skills (at least B2).

We are back! This role requires being in the office five days a week.
