This role will be based onsite in Kermit, Texas
How You Will Make an Impact
The Embedded Analytics Intern will provide analytical support that drives better decision‑making, improves asset health, and enhances execution discipline across the maintenance organization. This role is ideal for students interested in reliability engineering, maintenance optimization, equipment health analytics, and industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Track MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and asset availability trends
Analyze repeat failures and bad actors by asset class
Monitor maintenance backlog aging and PM (Preventive Maintenance) compliance
Support shutdown and turnaround performance analysis
Assist reliability engineers with data preparation, cleansing, and visualization
Prepare weekly reliability performance summaries for leadership
Help develop insights that drive prioritization and corrective action
Required Skills & Background
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (preferred), or related technical field
Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus
Interest in maintenance, reliability engineering, and asset management
High attention to detail, strong follow‑through, and comfort working with operations data
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Weekly Reliability KPI Summary highlighting trends and insights
Repeat Failure / Bad‑Actor Analysis by asset class
Backlog Aging & PM Effectiveness Summary with key observations
Prioritized Recommendations for corrective action or focus areas
