Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Ranch/plant safety inspections and complaince to Fed/State regulations 

• Assist with safety rules implementation

• Maintain current safety programs

• Deliver and conduct safety training for managers, crew supervisors and department leads

• Prepare summaries regarding in-house safety audits and injury investigations

• Conduct injury investigation for Field/Plant

• Conduct new hire and refresher training

• Process injury claims while working with Human Resource Clerk

• Process new hire paperwork for field personnel

• Meet compliance and reporting of federal and state regulations

Qualifications :

Bilingual (Eng/Spa) a plus

Prior experience working in the Field (harvesting fruit, thinning, pruning, etc.). Preferably tree fruit (peaches, nectarines, plums, citrus, etc.)

Prior experience handling compliance to Fed/OSHA, Cal/OSHA, DOL and other governmental agency regulations

Ability to perform audits, inspections, training, identify and correct hazards, etc.

Detail-orientated and focused on reducing accidents, injuries, and workplace violence.

Handle accident/incident investigation, medical treatment, corrective actions, and maintain excellent records.

Prefer someone who lives in the Kerman, CA area 

Pay Range: Min ($18.50) to Max ($20.00) 

This position may encompass other duties than the specified duties listed above.  If necessary, alternative duties can be assigned at the discretion of the direct supervisor.
