Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Weld Foreman to join our team, primarily focused on the space industry. The role involves working within a job shop environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, enjoys mentoring welders and fabricators, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality work on schedule. As the Weld Shop Foreman, you’ll oversee workflow, ensure safety and quality standards, coordinate with engineering and project management, and help drive continuous improvement across the shop.
Responsibilities
Oversee fabrication and welding operations to meet project specifications and deadlines.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
Perform inspections to ensure weld quality meets AWS and internal standards.
Troubleshoot fabrication issues and support problem‑solving on the shop floor.
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of welders and fabricators.
Assign daily tasks, manage workloads, and ensure efficient workflow.
Train team members on welding techniques, equipment use, and safety practices.

Work Environment
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime. Specializing in large-scale and technically demanding projects, the work environment thrives on challenges and delivers exceptional execution under tight deadlines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $46.00/hr.
