Conagra Brands Maintenance Manager in Kent, Washington
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to the Maintenance Department. Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in manufacturing operations. Creates and manages the Maintenance Department budget. Reviews maintenance, environmental health & safety, quality, and production reports and analytics to direct and modify Maintenance activities. Responsible for eliminating all equipment failures and maintaining equipment in base conditions in coordination with Operations, Engineering, and the Reliability COE.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Lead and manage direct reports
Promote and manage safety across the Maintenance Department.
Promote and manage FSQRA and GMP requirements across the Maintenance Department.
Prepare and operate within established maintenance operating budget and monitor departmental expenditures.
Assist with planning and cost estimates for annual and longer-term capital budgets.
Be acquainted with local/state/federal environmental regulations and ensure compliance with all operational permits.
Responsible for Maintenance Department metrics.
Establish a system and criteria for assessing maintenance work, including contractors.
Manage all contractor services required for planned or emergency maintenance.
Supervises the completion of work through review of reports, frequent site inspections, and meetings with other plant departments, contractors, and suppliers.
Participate in all Corporate Reliability COE meetings and activities.
Ensure priority Maintenance losses are understood and action plans are developed and executed to eliminate losses.
Implement and sustain all Reliability COE systems and standards.
Manage SAP skills and compliance with SAP standards across the Maintenance Department.
Assess Technician skills, understand skills gaps and priorities, and manage improving capabilities.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
BS degree. Technical engineering field preferred.
Minimum five years’ experience in food plant maintenance.
Must be computer literate; experienced in using computer software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CAD, etc.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Prior experience using SAP Plant Maintenance preferred.
Experience with Predictive Maintenance technologies: vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasound, etc.
Must have a complete understanding of PLC’s and logic controls.
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with superb time management and activity scheduling skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve meaningful results.

Compensation
Annual Base Salary: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
