M A MORTENSON CO Senior Safety Engineer I in KENOSHA, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Safety Engineer I that will be responsible for implementing Mortenson\'s Zero Injury Safety program across multiple project sites and ensuring a safe work environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors to the construction work site. RESPONSIBILITIES Implement and administer safety programs at worksites, including site-specific safety activities and training programs Document and track safety violations, conduct safety audits, and analyze loss control data Lead OSHA reporting, monitor subcontractor activities, and review safety submittals Record, monitor, and analyze safety, injury, and hazard statistics Provide safety-related information, evaluate industrial hygiene concerns, and maintain knowledge of safety standards Serve as a resource for safety issues, attend safety meetings, and assist with major incident analysis Work with client safety personnel, union representatives, and insurance risk engineers Ensure maintenance and inspection of safety equipment and build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor\'s degree in safety, occupational health, or equivalent; OR High school diploma with CHST Certification, OSHA 500, and a minimum of 10 years construction experience leading crews and planning work, to include at least six years as a dedicated construction safety professional responsible for managing project safety programs, conducting / reviewing hazard analyses and developing controls, conducting safety training, and planning work activities or equivalent experience in a relevant field Minimum of four years of construction safety experience Current valid driver\'s license Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant safety software programs Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies effectively Willingness to travel up to 100% A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-Cost mental health tool and conciergewith extensive work-life resources Tuition reimbursement Adoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program The base pay range for this role is \$89,500 - \$120,800.
