We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for a first-shift opportunity in Pleasant Prairie. This is a temp-to-hire position with long-term potential.
Position Overview:
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate receiving and unloading of incoming materials. This role verifies shipments against bills of lading and purchase orders, enters receipts into the ERP/MRP system, and ensures materials are properly stored or delivered to the appropriate department.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
Compare counts and documentation to purchase orders and bills of lading
Enter receipts and inventory transactions into ERP/MRP system
Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment
Communicate discrepancies or late deliveries to buyers/planners
Maintain clean and organized receiving and storage areas
Complete all receiving documentation accurately by end of shift
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of receiving or warehouse experience preferred
Forklift experience (certification preferred)
Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team lift for heavier items)
Reliable attendance and willingness to work occasional overtime as needed

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
