Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM; must be available for Saturdays as needed)
Job Summary
Join a growing manufacturing team producing large-scale radiators, cooling systems, and metal components used in data centers and industrial applications. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake equipment to bend, form, and fabricate metal components to precise specifications.
This is an advanced-level role ideal for experienced operators who can work independently and support team development.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC press brake machines for bending and forming metal components
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine specifications
Input and adjust programs using CNC controls
Adjust ram and back gauge settings to meet production requirements
Perform complex programming and produce parts to exact specifications
Measure and inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
Configure bend allowances for various materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent quality output
Perform spot inspections and maintain quality standards
Conduct routine maintenance and ensure machines are clean and calibrated
Prepare materials and clean product surfaces as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards
Assist with training or supporting less experienced operators as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred
Strong understanding of CNC press brake operations and programming
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of metal forming processes and materials
Strong math skills related to fabrication and measurements
Experience using precision measuring tools and gauges
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Forklift certification preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Ability to move up to 250 lbs with assistance
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and twisting
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
Strong visual acuity including depth perception and attention to detail
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, fumes, and moving machinery
Exposure to sparks, metal particles, and industrial equipment
Required PPE includes safety glasses, steel-toe boots, gloves, and hearing protection
