Dismantles machinery and mechanical equipment to remove defective parts; repairs or replaces the defective parts, using hand tools and power tools. Determines and orders appropriate materials and parts needed for service/repair of equipment and facility. Lubricates and cleans machinery and mechanical equipment. Wears all required personal protective equipment. Assures and participates in all plant safety/accident prevention policies. This includes maintaining a safe work environment and follows safe work practices. Maintains housekeeping of work areas. Performs other related duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor. Train current and new members of the department to perform job related tasks as needed. Learn new on the job skills as training opportunities become available. Preferred Requirements Able to stand/walk on concrete floor in a high speed production facility. Able to climb stairs/ladders up to 15 feet high. Able to lift up to 75 pounds. General Requirements Injection: Experience with Husky Injection machines preferred; others acceptable. Blow Mold: Experience with Sidel and/or Krones machines preferred.
