Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Somers, WI

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary

Join a growing manufacturing team producing large-scale radiators, cooling systems, and metal components used in data centers and industrial applications. As a Machine Operator, you will operate and assist with the setup of fabrication equipment, including tube mills and other machinery, to produce high-quality metal components.

This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience looking to grow their skills in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review job orders, blueprints, and production instructions to determine job requirements

  • Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including tube mills and related machinery

  • Adjust machines and programs to meet production specifications

  • Select and verify materials needed for each job

  • Monitor machine performance and ensure quality output during production

  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards

  • Prepare and clean materials for fabrication processes

  • Package finished products according to specifications

  • Maintain clean and organized work area and equipment

  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards at all times

  • Support additional production duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production orders

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally

  • Ability to move up to 200 lbs with assistance

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and twisting

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong visual acuity, including depth perception and attention to detail

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and equipment

  • Use of pneumatic tools, hoists, and cranes

  • Must follow all safety and PPE requirements

Pay Details: $20.50 per hour
